Greener Pastures for Seniors, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization formed on September 1, 2001. Our organization came about because of the suffering and loneliness we saw in the senior citizens of our churches and communities. We felt we needed to reach out to them with kindness, heath care, and companionship.

We know that Christ sees the needs of the lonely elderly in our midst. Our prayer is that you too will open your heart and see the needs of the elderly in your church, neighborhood and maybe even within your own family.

The primary goal of our organization is to provide in-home care to senior adults that are confined to a bed or wheelchair. This in-home care is provided by an Family Nurse Practitioner that is specialized in caring for older adults. The services provided by the FNP include primary care visits and routine lab work. The FNP is provided with a mobile medical unit equipped with medical equipment, lab and other supplies, which will provide a home bound patient specialized care within their own home.

Greener Pastures for Seniors also provides respite care to full-time caregivers through its Caregiver Baskets of Love Program. This program aids caregivers by providing them with gift certificates to Wal-Mart, Drug Stores, Hair Dressers and other customized places selected by the caregiver.

We are continually raising funds for the ministry and looking for Christian volunteers and prayer partners. We are recognized by the IRS as a charitable, tax-exempt, Christian organization; therefore any gifts are tax-deductible.
